Bolingbrook woman dies from injuries in crash

Geneva police have released the name of the Bolingbrook woman killed in a crash early Sunday evening on Kirk Road at Division Street.

Angela M. Tedesco, 48, was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by her husband, Michael Tedesco, 50. The couple was traveling south on Kirk Road just before 6 p.m. when a northbound GMC Sierra made a U-turn near Division Street, and the motorcycle struck the truck, according to Geneva police.

Angela Tedesco was pronounced dead at 7:48 p.m. Sunday at Delnor Hospital.

The pickup truck's driver, 19-year-old Kevin A. McElwain of Bartlett, was treated at the scene for injuries and was not transported to the hospital. Michael Tedesco was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. His condition was not made available Monday.

Police Monday said the crash remained under investigation, and that it does not appear drugs or alcohol use was a factor. No charges have been filed.
