Cops: Carol Stream man disseminated child porn
A 26-year-old Carol Stream man has been charged with disseminating child pornography, police said Thursday.
Mitchell Dunnam of the 26W000 block of Gold Finch Court surrendered Wednesday on one count each of child pornography dissemination and aggravated child pornography.
He is accused of having pornographic images of girls younger than 13, according to court records. The charges stemmed from an online undercover investigation by Wheaton police.
Dunnam remained in the DuPage County jail on $300,000 bail. If convicted of the most serious charge, he could face up to 15 years in prison. His next court date is April 23.
