Wheeling Dems launch newly designed website

The Wheeling Township Democrats have launched a new design of their website at wheelingdems.com.

“Wheeling Dems puts a special emphasis on educating and engaging voters so we designed our new user-friendly website to connect with people through social media and up to the minute info,” said Kathleen Sances, Wheeling Township democratic committeewoman. “Volunteers put a tremendous amount of effort into renovating our website for 2012 and beyond. Because we’ll be updating it regularly, we hope voters will check out our new homepage often and pass it on to friends and neighbors.”

The modernized homepage features sections for highlights like the Wheeling Dems’ current “Featured Charity” plus coming events, news releases, a Facebook Friends panel and the @WheelingDems Twitter stream.

The menus on the new site include links to local government contacts, lists of candidates, voting information and more.
