The Geneva Park District Youth Tennis Team program will be for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 10. Experience is not required. There is a spot on the team for any experience level, even if your child has never held a racket.

The league season will be held from Feb. 25 to April 14. Practice will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road.

Parental participation is necessary for the success of this program. The Midwest Youth Tennis program will provide training to those parents selected as volunteer coaches.

Cost is $117 per player. Every player will receive a team uniform, foam ball, age-appropriate tennis racket, one-year USTA Junior Membership, subscription to Bounce or SMASH Magazine, and an Ace's Kids Club Package including an activity book, birthday card, sweat band and other fun tennis items.

The Midwest Youth Tennis Team program is the largest tennis program for children 10 years and younger in the Midwest. The program features the QuickStart Tennis play format, which uses age-appropriate equipment and courts scaled to the size of the players. The Midwest Youth Tennis Team makes the game more accessible and more fun by allowing kids to get involved right from the start.
