Replace legislators who don’t produce

There are over 400 representatives in Washington and 100 senators. Why are our policies and laws being written by the “Gang of 6” or a few legislative leaders sitting behind closed doors around the president’s conference table?

What are the other 400-plus representatives doing beside junkets and campaigning? If a half dozen representatives and senators are deciding our future, why do we need the rest of them?

If we get rid of the unproductive legislators we could balance the budget on the savings alone. Do our representatives even know what is being discussed and are they being given the opportunity for input?
