NEW YORK -- Sidney Crosby leads all players in balloting for the NHL All-Star game for the second consecutive week.

The Pittsburgh Penguins' star had 218,791 votes in results released Monday by the league. Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price moved into second place with 145,726 votes, the most among write-in candidates. Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos is third with 141,818.

Jonathan Toews of the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks is third among forwards with 139,570 votes. The top defensemen are Chicago's Duncan Keith (137,642) and Philadelphia's Chris Pronger (137,549).

The All-Star game is scheduled for Jan. 30 and will be hosted by the Carolina Hurricanes. As part of the new format, fans vote for six starters -- one at each position -- and captains choose up the two sides.
