Crystal Lake teen missing

Crystal Lake police are looking for information about a missing juvenile named Trenton Johnson. Johnson was last seen at his parents' Crystal Lake home Tuesday around 5:30 p.m.

He sent a text message to a friend saying he was going to New York and has stopped in at least one place on the way. Johnson visited another friend in Nokomis, Ill, but left before authorities arrived.

Johnson has Asperger's syndrome a form of autism and does not have his medication with him, according to the Crystal Lake Police Department.

Johnson likes to play online videogames and often stops at locations with free wireless connections.

Johnson was last seen wearing a brown baseball cap, black gym shoes, blue jeans and a dark brown bomber jacket with a fur collar. He has not shaved in weeks and has sparse facial hair.

Johnson is traveling in a 2002 maroon Honda Accord registered to his parents with Illinois registration number L323840 IL/10.
