One injured in Cary accident on Three Oaks Road

Three Oaks Road in Cary was shut down for about 30 minutes Monday night after a crash that left one person injured, Cary police officials said.

The unidentified woman was taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Her condition Tuesday was unknown.

Police said the female was traveling east on Three Oaks Road at about 7 p.m. near a pick-up when one of the cars attempted to make a U-turn. The two cars collided at the intersection of Thre Oaks and Silver Lake Road.

Police said it is unclear at this time who was at fault in the crash.

The names of the two drivers involved in the crash will not be released until citations are issued and the investigation is completed.
