Maine East gets new leaders

Maine Township High School District 207 has named a new principal and athletic director for Maine East High School in Park Ridge.

Michael W. Pressler, who has served as the school's assistant principal for instruction for five years, will succeed current Principal Steven T. Isoye on July 1. He was chosen from a national search that drew more than 50 applicants.

Michael Bender, a third-year special education teacher at the school who also serves as head softball coach, will become athletic director on July 1.
