Taste Hoffman eateries, get discount with membership

Hoffman Estates' program offering restaurant discounts to residents kicks off this month.

Village staff has lined up 40 restaurants for its Taste of Hoffman Estates program which gives residents 10 percent off their check when they present their membership card.

Economic Development Coordinator Gary Skoog in January said the program would give residents an incentive to dine out during these tough economic times.

Signup materials will be included in the April edition of the village's newsletter, which is mailed out and also available at village hall. The program will last until April 30, 2011 and the discounts exclude alcohol, tip, private parties and catering. Only certain restaurants will apply the discount for delivery.
