Library, high schools and restaurants make Ethnic Food Fest a success

Nearly 200 people attended the Saturday, Feb. 27, Ethnic Food Festival at the Schaumburg Township District Library, raising $355. The annual fest is a cooperative effort between the library, restaurants and local high school cultural clubs. Proceeds from the event benefit the clubs so members can learn about a variety of cultures and cuisines.

The library appreciates the generosity of the following restaurants which contributed food to the event:, Dan Thai, El Meson Mexican Cuisine, Gaylord Fine Indian Cuisine, India House, Indian Garden, Koreana, Krystyna's Deli, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Pita House, Pompei, Priscilla's Ultimate Soul Food Cafeteria II, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Riccardo's, Smiling Buddha Szechwan & Mandarin Restaurant and Thai Garden.
