Book Event at Sock Monkey Museum was a hitMay 30, 2023 9:59 AM - Long Grove's Sock Monkey Museum hosted author Melanie Holmes for a book launch event, which brought museum attendance to near-capacity for a while on Saturday, May 27. Holmes's appearance on WGN-TV contributed to the packed crowd, as well as Daily Herald coverage. Even though all books on-hand sold out, the museum will re-stock their shelves very soon.
