The Bears had just lost the first set badly to visiting Rolling Meadows 25-16. Lake Zurich had just taken a 1-0 lead in the second set when someone from a large contingent of Lake Zurich student fans yelled "scoreboard."

The Huntley coach thought the Red Raiders relied too much on Ian Watson, who tallied a school-record 116 points last year. He knew the team needed to spread the ball around the field if it wanted to win a sectional title this year.

The Warriors (8-2, 3-1) have played just 10 matches, but managed to show a lot of positives in a small sample size compared to other area teams. The Warriors have won three straight matches heading into Tuesday's tilt against Elgin St. Edward.
