Aurora police ID body along Fox River

Authorities have identified a body found today in the Fox River near Aurora as that of Larry R. Steward, a 26-year-old Naperville man who was reported missing on Sunday, police said.

Steward's body was found just before 1 p.m. against the riverbank behind homes on the 500 block of Rosewood Avenue - where Steward was last seen, police said.

Aurora police said Steward's death is gang-related. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
