Preview: No. 3 Rochelle (13-16) vs. No. 1 Wheaton Academy (17-8)
When: 7:30 p.m. today.
Outlook: The Western Sun Conference standings and Wheaton Academy's 66-48 regional semifinal win over Kaneland may indicate a Warriors win in this sectional semifinal. Rochelle, the host, tied for sixth in the WSC at 4-10, a game behind Kaneland. Warriors coach Paul Ferguson will take no chances; Wheaton Academy's 47-42 victory over Hampshire was only its second regional title and first since 1998. Ferguson said the Hubs may not care about a true matchup for 6-foot-8 forward Tim Rusthoven, who's scored 34 points in two playoff games. Rochelle, which beat Freeport 52-49 to get here, is up-tempo, likes full-court man to man and the 3-ball. Warriors guards Tim Streets, Eric Albaugh and Quinn Gorski must be disciplined against Hubs seniors Andy Wilkinson and Ben Schwartz.
