Lake in the Hills man charged with sexual assault

A Lake in the Hills man has been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child Thursday, police said.

Police allege Robert W. Lucht, 52, of the 1100 block of Burr Street, had sex with a girl younger than 13 between three and four years ago.

Lucht is unable to post 10 percent of $100,000 bond and remains in McHenry County jail.

He is due to appear in court April 1 and faces between six and 30 years in prison, if convicted on the class X felony charge.
