Grow government and hope it works
Mixing in the liberal media bias with both houses and the new administration is a recipe for the perfect storm that can drastically change America on the road to socialism.
Many people felt better when they said that President-elect Obama would be a moderate. We could only hope for that.
However, now that we are into a few weeks of the new administration, there is clear evidence that "change" actually means a rush to a far-left agenda across the board.
Rushing through the most massive spending bill in history, and who knows what other major decisions under the cover of night and speed, should concern most Americans.
You have to ask yourself, do you trust a handful of politicians in Washington to spend close to a trillion dollars?
Would you trust government to make decisions about your health care?
History is littered with charismatic politicians who can provide hope to the masses in large rallies, especially in challenging times. Their true agenda eventually is on display.
Socialist countries with massive spending and reduced freedoms have been tried before, and still exist as weak nations.
Washington has been the problem, and now it is even a bigger problem. It seems like Chicago/Illinois politics has now gone national. Perhaps the politicians who voted for the bill didn't need to read the 1,100 pages, since the pork wish list was years in the making.
Perhaps change and hope means growing government and hoping it works.
