Local police planning trivia night

It's time to get all that random knowledge together in one place.

The Algonquin and West Dundee police departments are holding trivia night to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics of Illinois.

The fourth-annual event will be held March 13 at the Golf Club of Illinois, 1572 Edgewood Road.

Teams of between eight and 10 players will duke it out among each other and the team that gets the most questions right, wins a prize.

Registration runs between 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on March 13.

Be ready for the first question at 7 p.m.

Anyone can register and it costs $20 to participate.
