Musical duo to perform at library

Join Hanes & O'Meara for the songs of Rural America from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Algonquin Area Public Library, 2600 Harnish Drive in Algonquin.

Hall Hanes and Mike O'Meara have been playing music in the Chicago area for more than 30 years with acoustic guitars, banjo and harmonica. Their stage manner is relaxed and respectful, with just enough laughter to balance the sad songs and a gentleness to balance the boisterous ones.
