There's a lot to like about Jack

Residents of McHenry County are lucky to have someone like State Rep. Jack Franks on their side. He is committed to putting an end to corruption in state government.

For years, Rep. Franks pointed out problems within the Blagojevich administration, and for years he was criticized for being the voice of dissent. Rep. Franks remained undeterred, and now the level of corruption has been revealed to all.

Rep. Franks continues to make every effort to return the government to the people of Illinois. He followed through on his promise to impeach the governor, but he hasn't stopped there. He has taken steps to prevent Illinois from repeating recent history.

Rep. Franks introduced legislation to allow recall elections, which would allow the people of Illinois to elect someone they deem qualified to replace an inadequate governor. He also tried to pass legislation barring a governor facing impeachment from filling an important appointment, like a U.S. Senate seat.

I'm grateful to have an advocate like Rep. Franks working for my interests and hope he will find the support he needs in the Illinois 96th General Assembly to pass new laws that will help prevent further corruption.
