Smoking isn't only way to get cancer
So much for smoke-free air.
Kudos to Mr. Ostenson's reply ("I'll take a pass on your toast," Jan. 15) to Ms. Maryland's letter.
Ms. Maryland should also be aware that nonsmokers get lung cancer and non-drinkers get liver cancer. As for secondhand smoke being unhealthy, what about the toxins and pollution in the air that we breathe in 24 hours a day? These are among things attributing to the escalation of many cancers.
