Movie with Jewish theme to highlight evening event Fellowship

Spend Valentine's Day bidding farewell to the Sabbath with a brief musical Havdallah service, followed by a Jewish-themed movie at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors, 121 S. • Lord of Life Church will present the movie "Fireproof" at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the church, Route 38 and LaFox Road in LaFox. The film is about a firefighter who tries to save his marriage with an experiment called Love Dare 40 Day. Calvary Episcopal Church invites the public to an authentic Cajun dinner in a festive Mardi Gras setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the church, 222 S. Batavia Ave., in Batavia. • Sugar Grove United Methodist Church is hosting its annual bread and soup benefit luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 S. Main St. This outreach fundraiser is based on voluntary donations. Proceeds will support Aurora Shalom Ministries, a faith-based ministry for at-risk children and youth.
