Office complex foreclosed

An $11.5 million foreclosure lawsuit has been filed against a two-building office complex called Deerpath Atrium Center in Vernon Hills.

The buildings are at 536-616 and 700-702 Atrium Drive, near Milwaukee Avenue and Illinois Route 60.

The suit was filed last month by Farm Bureau Life Insurance of West Des Moines, Iowa, against a venture managed by Gabco VH2 LLC, based in Highland Park.

The original loan was for $10.5 million in 2003, said Steven Migala, of Riffner Barber Rowden in Schaumburg, which represents Farm Bureau Life Insurance.
