Winfield candidate's experience is tops
On April 7, the people of Winfield have an opportunity to choose an excellent person for village president. His name is Tony Reyes and to those who know him he is an excellent manager, a creative thinker, and one that believes in truly representing the wishes of the good people of Winfield.
Tony brings a vast array of experience and knowledge to this position that is clearly unmatched by any of his opponents. Tony is the past president of Winfield Elementary District 34, past commissioner for the DuPage Airport Authority, current president of West Chicago Community High School District 94 High School Board, and current chairman for the Sheriff's Merit Commission. It becomes very clear that Tony Reyes has given of his time, energy, hard work, and ideas to serving the people, not only of Winfield, but of DuPage County with the utmost dignity, honesty and sincerity for many years. In addition to this extensive experience in various forms of government, Tony has built a very successful business after several years in a managerial role with the McDonald's Corp. Wherever Tony has gone and in each role that he has played, he left the organization in better shape than he found it. There is no substitute for experience, and Tony has far more of that than any of his opponents in the upcoming election.
I believe the most important attribute any elected official is to best serve the people one represents. An elected official must push the people's agenda, not just his own, determine what the people want accomplished and then get it done. I have known Tony Reyes for over 30 years and I can say that Tony will be this kind of representative for the people of Winfield.
