Sesquicentennial a time of great giving

We would like to publicly thank Michelle Senatore, Mike Benard and their committee on behalf of the 15 recipients of the proceeds from the Wheaton Sesquicentennial Gala held Feb. 21 at Arrowhead Golf Club.

During such a difficult time, they put together and led a wonderful event to give back to the Wheaton community. We are truly appreciative for their thinking of us to receive such a tremendous gift. Thank you to the Sesquicentennial Gala Committee for planning such a successful event, and for stepping up and representing Wheaton so perfectly. Thank you to the sponsors, especially the Platinum and Gold Sponsors - Central DuPage Hospital, First Trust Portfolios, McCormick Foundation, PowerShares, OAD Orthopaedics and Bank of America for helping to raise more than $150,000. The response and support from the Gala attendees was overwhelming. I am proud to be a part of such a giving community.

Also, thank you to the many volunteers who dedicated their time and effort toward putting together the Sesquicentennial Gala. An undertaking of this magnitude would not be possible without their help.
