Change is needed at General Motors

GMAC created by General Motors primarily to finance auto loans. Highly capitalized they used their power and financed loans. This business was formerly the local banks. Greed didn't stop. Real estate business was next. Local real estate companies lost sales that would help our community.

Is it any wonder with all this going on they forgot the auto industry.

The boom bust and they requested money from TARP. Under the TARP guidelines GMAC did not qualify. They were given bank holding company status. Now we are giving billions to General Motors. Change will be welcome.
