Enroll young naturalists in Kane County Forest Preserve District camp

The Kane County Forest Preserve District offers various weeklong nature camps, including full-day, half-day and twilight options. During the camps, kids will explore the woods and fields with the naturalist staff. They'll trek through a preserve on guided hikes, take part in nature games and activities and discover plants and animals in their native habitats. Each day brings a new fun adventure. And for those who would prefer an early-evening camp experience, Twilight Camp is offered. Kids will see a new world of wildlife as we explore native animals out and about at dusk. Camp activities include guided hikes with the district naturalists, games, stories and a campfire on the final night.

Limited spaces are available for camps at Burnidge Forest Preserve in Elgin, Johnson's Mound Forest Preserve in Elburn and Tekakwitha Woods Forest Preserve in St. Charles. Register quickly, as remaining spots are sure to fill-up.
