St. Charles man killed in motorcycle crash in Campton Hills

Michael S. Smith, of the 200 block of Sunbury Drive, was killed in the crash and his wife, a passenger on the motorcycle, was injured, police said today. Her injuries are not life threatening.

Police say witness accounts indicate both motorcycles where traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic before the crash.
Smith was taken to Delnor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:07 p.m., police said.
The driver and passengers of the vehicle that was hit were not injured. They are residents of Geneva, police said.
