Kane County
• Rafael Catana, 24, of the 0N100 block of Prince Crossing Road, West Chicago, was arrested at 11:12 a.m. Monday and charged with possession of cannabis in a traffic stop on Route 25, south of Illinois Avenue, in unincorporated Aurora, police said. Catana also was wanted on a DuPage County warrant. The driver, Juan Medina, 33, of the 1800 block of Bilter Road, Aurora, was cited for driving without a valid license, police said.
• Eric Diaz, 18, of the 200 block of Timber Oaks Drive, North Aurora, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Sunday and charged with underage drinking and improper lane use after the vehicle he was driving sideswiped a utility pole and several trees along northbound Route 31 near Mooseheart Road in unincorporated Batavia, police said.
• Kevin G. Huinker, 44, of the 200 block of Ninth Avenue, Fort Atkinson, Iowa, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after a police officer found him sleeping in a vehicle that was in gear at a gas pump at the Burlington Oasis, 125 Plank Road, in unincorporated Burlington, police said.
• A man and three women were arrested at 8:07 a.m. Nov. 23 and charged with battery after an altercation on the 6N900 block of Woodlawn Avenue in unincorporated St. Charles. Police identified those charged as Lorraine M. Wright, 23, and Sandi D. Demski, 19, both of the 1700 block of South Fourth Place, St. Charles, and Amber L. Page, 17, of the Woodlawn address, and Anton R. Ayyad, 24, of the 1800 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora. Police said the three women "jumped" Ayyad after he was struck by Wright and pushed back. All four were treated for minor cuts and bruises. Ayyad told police his cuts were caused by a butter knife.
• A Garmin GPS was reported stolen Monday from a vehicle on the 0N400 block of Dooley Drive in unincorporated Geneva. A window on the vehicle also was smashed, police said.

• Christmas lights were cut from a house in the 900 block of First Street, it was reported at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday, police.
• A Motorola 19 cell phone was stolen out of InTouch Wireless, 151 S. Randall Road, at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
• A vehicle title was stolen in the 600 block of Wind Energy Pass, it was reported at 6:20 p.m. Monday, police said.
