Antiques and crafts

• The 49th Annual Hinsdale Antiques Show features more than 30 exhibitors displaying and selling items from around the globe. A preview party is 7 p.m. Thursday with dinner, cocktails, music and a first look at the show. The show itself goes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Community House, 415 W. Eighth St., Hinsdale. • The historic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Robie House at 5757 S. Woodlawn Ave., Chicago, is offering free tours from noon to 2 p.m. today. It's all to highlight the Robie House's nomination for a $1 million grant contest called Partners in Preservation co-sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express. • The Citizens for Glen Ellyn Preservation Fifth Annual Preservation Seminar and Historic House Walk is Saturday. A "How to Revitalize Downtown Glen Ellyn" seminar led by Nick Kalogeresis kicks things off at 10 a.m. at Ben Franklin School, 350 Bryant Ave., Glen Ellyn. The tour is 12:30 to 5 p.m. Cost is $35 ($25 for members), while the seminar is $5. Tickets can be purchased at www.glenellynpreservation.org.

• The Fourth Annual Chicago Luxury Home Tour allows you to tour a variety of multi-million dollar suburban homes in the Chicagoland area. Homes are open for tours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays until Sept. 23. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the homes. Single home tickets are $5. Demonstration

• Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, hosts a seminar on "Building, Remodeling and Designing Your Home With Green" at 7 p.m. Thursday.
