Please vote 'yes' to support Harper

Harper's referendum in regards to repairs and restoration will have a great affect on its educational community.

As a returning student and as a leader in the student government here at Harper, I can attest from my observations, there are several buildings in need of renovation. I have taken several classes in these buildings and I will admit it was often hard to remain focused in class, because of the environment.

Harper College offers several career programs at an affordable rate, allowing many working students, returning students and students that work to support families, to get a higher education. I graduated from Harper in 2007 and returned to continue taking classes in my career field.

I find higher education important and having a community college close to home and work that offers quality programs is a strong appeal for me and many other students.

Harper lives up to it's mission to "Go Forward," and has changed my life significantly. It has the ability to change the lives of many more students as well.

Support Harper; please vote yes for Harper at the bottom of the ballot Nov. 4.
