Barrington woman walks for charity

Jennie Miller of Barrington, who lost her mom, Jessie Miller, to acute Parkinson's on Jan. 27, 2004, and her dad, George Miller, to acute leukemia, Nov. 20, 1995, will walk for 10 hours Feb. 8 to raise money for the National Parkinson's Foundation and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Her walk begins at 8 a.m. at the Highland Park Health & Fitness Center indoor track, 1501 Busch Parkway, Buffalo Grove.
