Blaze ravages Lakemoor home

A Lakemoor house was badly damaged by a fire Friday evening, authorities said, but no one was hurt.
The blaze was discovered about 5:30 p.m. at a house on Kent Road south of Route 120, McHenry Fire Department officials said. No one was home at the time.
A tanker truck was brought in to provide water for firefighters.
A damage estimate was not available Friday night. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
