Spirit of Life's Christmas concert Sunday

The Spirit of Life chorus will bring its Christmas concert, "Christmas ... The Story of Love," to Christ Church United Church of Christ, Cora and Henry streets, Des Plaines, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23.

Admission is free; as always a freewill offering will be taken to defray the chorus's expenses.

Seating is first-come, first-served; doors to the church will open at 3:30 p.m. Parking is available in the church lot at Cora and Walnut; or on the neighborhood streets.

Spirit of Life is one of the Chicago area's most popular choruses, performing eight concerts this fall at churches around the metropolitan region. The ecumenical Christian group has more than 100 members.

Christ Church will offer a "coffee and" fellowship following the performance.
