A Silly Shoe Storytime: Celebrate National Shoe Week at 6:30 p.m. today. Bring or wear a pair of silly shoes or slippers and listen to some stories and create own one-of-a-kind shoes. For kindergartners through second graders.
Botanical Quilts: Sara Drower, a fabric artist who paints botanically-correct flowers, fruits and vegetables on quilts, totes and other items, will share tips and techniques about painting on fabric at 7 p.m. Monday. See examples of her work in the library's display case in March at www.drower.com.
Explore Animals: Explore animals from all over the world. Learn about their unique behaviors and how they've adapted to their environments at 10 a.m. March 15. Hands-on fun for the whole family. Tickets are required. Free tickets are available at the Youth Services Desk.
St. Patrick's Day Fun Fest!: Children in kindergarten through third grade can come and enjoy a St. Patrick's Day celebration at 1 p.m. March 15. Listen to stories and music from the Emerald Isle, and make a craft and learn some fun facts about Ireland.
Let's LEGO: Children in kindergarten through sixth grade can join other LEGO enthusiasts to share ideas and build structures at 1:30 p.m. March 16. All parents are welcome. Children in second grade and under must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, see the Youth Services Desk.
