Motorola inks WiMax deal
LAHORE, Pakistan -- Motorola Inc. Monday announced a contract with Wateen Telecom-Pakistan to supply 198,000 end-user WiMax customer premises equipment devices for indoor and outdoor use. The units will provide subscribers in Pakistan with wireless access to agile and affordable data and Voice over IP services in one of the world's most rapidly-growing telecom markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
