Stevenson musician honored

Stevenson High School junior David Jin won a first- place prize in the recent 2010-11 Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Composition Contest, school officials announced this week.

Jin won in an instrumental category. He will receive his award at a Jan. 29 ceremony in Peoria.
