Lake Co. water system test set

A test of the Lake County water distribution system between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4 may impact customers in Vernon Hills and Mettawa.

Fluctuations in water pressure could occur during the testing period. Any severe pressure losses should be reported directly to the Lake County Public Works Department at (847) 377-7500 or (847) 309-0266.

These tests are being conducted in advance of potential water system modifications tentatively scheduled for late January. Details will be forthcoming.
