Mount Prospect seeks toys for kids

The Village of Mount Prospect is conducting its annual Toys for Kids program.

Any resident wishing to donate a new toy for underprivileged children in Mount Prospect may bring the unwrapped gift to fire stations located at 112 E. Northwest Hwy., 1601 W. Golf Road, or 2000 E. Kensington Road. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 10.

The toys will be distributed on Saturday, Dec. 11, by the Police, Fire, and Human Services Departments. Donated gifts may range from the age of infant to teenager.

Please donate unwrapped new toys only. Cash donations or used toys cannot be accepted, but gift certificates to local merchants are welcome.
