Packers face injury issues

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Already without two starters for the rest of the season, the Green Bay Packers have more injury issues going into their game Sunday at the Washington Redskins.

The team has ruled out linebackers Nick Barnett (wrist) and Brandon Chillar (shoulder), rookie cornerback Sam Shields (calf) and fullback Quinn Johnson (glute) for the game.

Right tackle Mark Tauscher is doubtful with a shoulder injury.

Coach Mike McCarthy says Tauscher is getting stronger in his recovery, but the veteran starter didn't practice this week. Rookie Bryan Bulaga is likely to replace Tauscher in the starting lineup Sunday.

On a positive note, McCarthy is confident Pro Bowl safety Nick Collins will play in the game. Collins has been bothered by a knee injury the last few weeks, but he went through the full practice Friday and is probable on the injury report.
