Don't be conned by mendacious right

The Republican Party's Pledge to America is sheer hubris and an insult to our collective intelligence. If the GOP takes control, it promises to reinstate the policies that had caused the current economic crisis in the first place.

It speaks volumes that no Republican politician, when interviewed, is willing to disclose which specific government spending he or she plans to cut after the election.

Note also that Republicans adamantly refuse to disclose the sources of their campaign funds, which appears to include foreign companies from Bahrain and China. Voters should think twice before casting their ballots based on irrational emotions incited by the mendacious right.
