Prospect High School student plan Madrigal Dinner

The Madrigal Singers of Prospect High School, directed by Jennifer Troiano, will present the ensemble's annual Madrigal Dinner at Bristol Court Banquets, 828 E. Rand Road in Mount Prospect, at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12.

The event will feature singing by Renaissance-costumed lords and ladies, outstanding court musicians, and the entertaining revelry of performers, all talented Prospect students. Many traditional madrigals will be performed, as well as more contemporary songs.

Diners will be served a bountiful feast, as they enjoy the acting ensembles and musical entertainment. The menu includes wassail, minestrone soup, dinner salad, Chicken Marsala, mixed vegetables, Duchess Potatoes, bread and butter, and chocolate-drizzled crepes with ice cream.
