Senate candidates lacking in character
Alexi Giannoulias and Mark Kirk - how can we in good conscience vote for either one of them? I don't care about their opinions on the issues at this point; I care about their character.
As Bruce Newman of DePaul University says, "Voters look for honesty and credibility," which to me spells "character." They have none. Somewhere along the line, both candidates forgot how important their character means to voters - more important than their opinions on the issues.
