Mount Prospect trustees file for re-election

Three incumbents filed nominating petitions for re-election to seats on the Mount Prospect village board early Monday at the onset of the candidate filing period for the April 5 consolidated election.

Trustees Paul Hoefert, Arlene Juracek and John Korn filed simultaneously at 8:30 a.m. for the three available four-year board terms. A lottery will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 23 in the village clerk's office to determine the candidates' placement on the ballot.

The filing period continues through Monday, Dec. 20.
