Blackhawks recall Pirri from Rockford
The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled forward Brandon Pirri from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs and assigned goaltender Alec Richards to Rockford.
Chicago's training camp roster now stands at 31 active players, which includes 18 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goaltenders.
The Blackhawks continue their preseason schedule at 7 p.m. against the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center.
