Wheeling HS hosts marching band festival
Seventeen high school marching bands from the Chicago suburbs and around Illinois will meet on the field of Wheeling High School Saturday evening for the annual Chicagoland Marching Band Festival.
The bands include Prospect, Elk Grove, Glenbrook North, Rolling Meadows and the host band, the Wheeling High School Wildcat Marching Band, which will conclude the evening with an exhibition performance at 9:45 p.m. Show starts at 5 p.m.; awards ceremony is at 10 p.m. General admission, $10; students & seniors $7; family plan $25. Concessions available.
