Leaders in Capitol are out of touch

It is a travesty that the federal government sued Arizona to prevent that state from acting against people who are in the country illegally. That it has neglected to enforce its own laws is even more troubling.

Washington has set an incredibly poor example - it is acceptable to violate laws deemed politically "unpopular." The fact that every poll indicates that a majority of Americans are fed up with the federal government's inaction is even more indicative of how out-of-touch Washington politicians are with their constituents. Here's hoping a total house cleaning comes about in November.
