St. Charles North Drill Team busy teaching award-winning dance moves
On the week of Aug. 16, the St. Charles North Drill Team was busy teaching their award-winning dance moves to a group of young dancers in the area. This was the 11th year of the SCN dance camp's operation. This year's camp was attended by 117 area girls in first through eighth grade who had a fun time learning some great dance moves.
Each grade level was paired up with varsity and junior varsity dancers who taught the girls the skills needed to perform a dance routine between games of the St. Charles North "Black & Blue" scrimmage that was held Aug. 20. In addition to performing at the scrimmage, each girl also received a T-shirt and photo gift.
