Off with the heads of ... Americans if they continue to ignore the obvious?

Break out the guillotines for Wall Streeters? Not so fast. Maybe others should be at the head of that line.

Wall Street, banks and big business were never our friends or trustworthy. If you thought they were you are dangerously naive or have never read a history book or a newspaper.

Think now, whose duty was it and who was being paid to protect our interests? Government. Who betrayed and failed us? Government. Who profited from the betrayal? Government. Who has not been held accountable? Government.

Senators and congressmen took brib-, aah, large campaign contributions from Wall Street and special mortgage deals from others. Senators Dodd and Obama alone took millions from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Goldman Sachs. Who insisted months before the crash that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were sound and should not be investigated? Barney Frank. Who left Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac the root cause of the crisis out of the financial reform bill? Democrat-controlled Congress.

Thousands of federal employees were paid billions to monitor and regulate banks, businesses and Wall Street, but did nothing. They surfed the web for porn, collected large pensions then went to work for the banks and Wall Street. Remember, the SEC was told 11 times about Bernie Madoff but did nothing. Oops, an SEC employee did marry Madoff's niece. I could go on and on.

The same people in government have now given themselves more power than ever and a big pat on the back and big raises. Has any government official or employee been indicted, fired, demoted or disciplined? No. It's boom times in Washington DC. Wake up. The emperor has no clothes on. If Americans continue to ignore the obvious they deserve what they get and they should be first in line for that guillotine.
