Schaumburg library's Comic Con to run March 22-April 3
The Schaumburg Library's annual Comic Con will look different this year due to social distancing, but will still take place with many fun events.
Instead of one day, Comic Con will last from Monday, March 22, through Saturday, April 3.
Find out more about these events for all ages and register at SchaumburgLibrary.org/comic-con. Some activities are full, but have a waitlist.
Artist Alley will take place on the library's website and feature artists Brian BMAN Babendererde, Penelopeloveprints, Raz Ortiz, Ryan Francis, Steph Stanga, Chris Ness, Enerjax, Rich Perez of Tango Comics, Tom Bacon, Apurva Dave and Alexander (aka "Circuit").
A drive-in movie showing "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse" (rated PG) will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, April 2, in the east parking lot of the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court.
Other Comic Con programs include making puppets, comics, bullet journals, buttons and art, and a stitch craft, building with bloxels, learning to use cosplay makeup, and competing in trivia contests.
